Apple cookies with nuts

Apple and nut cookies — simple cookies with a refined apple and nut filling. A hint of cinnamon gives the baked goods a piquancy and a beautiful brown colour. The overall taste is somewhat reminiscent of the famous charlotte. The apple pieces do not get lost at all in the overall mix of flavours, standing out and setting the tone.

Ingredients: butter - 100 g sugar - 150 g eggs - 3 pcs. apples - 3 pcs. walnuts - 100 g cinnamon - 1/2-1 tsp (optional) flour - 350 g baking powder - 2 tsp salt - a pinch

Peel the apples and grate them on a coarse grater.

Blitz the nuts in a blender so that they are in small pieces.

Add the eggs and salt to the soft butter and mix.

Add the sugar, apples, nuts and cinnamon and mix.

Add the flour with the baking powder and knead the dough.

Shape the cookies using two spoons (or wet hands) and place them on the baking tray.

Bake at 180C for 20-25 minutes. Enjoy your meal!
