Ingredients: spaghetti – 250 g, tomatoes – 3 pcs., tomato paste – 1 tbsp., salt – 1/3 tsp., onions – 2 pcs., black pepper – to taste, water – 150 ml, garlic – 2 cloves, dried herbs (dill, parsley) – to taste. For the meatballs: minced meat – 500 g, potatoes – 1 pc., onion – 1 pc., garlic – 2 cloves, salt – 1/2 tsp., sweet red pepper (paprika) – 1/3 tsp., black pepper – to taste, dried basil – 1/2 tsp.
Add a raw potato to the minced meat, grating it on a fine grater or blending it. Add garlic, salt, sweet paprika, black pepper and dried basil to the minced meat. Mix and form meatballs of about 70 g each.
Prepare the vegetables. Blend the tomatoes, add tomato paste to them and mix.
Take a frying pan, pour in a little oil and fry the diced onion until translucent. Add the tomatoes with tomato paste, simmer for a couple of minutes, add salt, black pepper and 150 ml of water, add the meatballs and cook covered for about 15–20 minutes until the meat and vegetables are done. Add 2–3 cloves of garlic 2 minutes before the end.
Boil the spaghetti in a pot. Pour water into the pot and add salt. Once it boils, add the spaghetti and cook until done. Drain the water and add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce with the meatballs. Sprinkle with dried herbs. Warm through for a minute and let the spaghetti absorb the sauce.
Enjoy your meal!
