INGREDIENTS (for 3 servings):
Wheat flour – 100 g. Kefir – 125 ml. Egg – 1 pc. Sugar – 1 pinch. Salt – 1 pinch. Baking soda – ½ tsp. Vegetable oil (for frying) – 2-3 tbsp.
FOR THE FILLING
Boiled sausage – 150 g. Cheese – 80 g.
Pour the kefir into a bowl. Add the egg and whisk lightly.
Add the sifted flour and baking soda, then the sugar and salt. Stir and leave for 15 minutes.
Cut the sausage into rounds and the cheese into small slices.
Place two pieces of cheese on each round of sausage.
Cover with a second round of sausage. This gives 5 "sausage sandwiches".
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan. Pour in 1 tablespoon of batter at a time and let it set just slightly.
Place one "sausage sandwich" on top of each round of batter. Fry the resulting construction over minimal heat for about 3 minutes.
Then pour a little more batter over the sausage so that it covers the edges of the sausage.
Flip the fritters with sausage and cheese and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
The fritters with sausage and cheese are ready.
